About I can't do anything with the sky on this one, but I like the composition, so I decide to solarised the clouds, it's help to see details of this arch

thanks a lot Martin, the recipe is kind easy. With a real cloudy sky with no contrast, you selectioned the sky and solarised it, them put the brightness very low. Real easy isn't.
Have a great week end my friend.

in fact this is not a collage but solarisation of this pic, it's a lot of work to make this thin line disappear, but I agree that if I'll do that, it will enhance the look... maybe if i can get enough time :)
thanks for stopping by and comment J

jac,

Wonderful use of f/6.8 regarding the DOF on this and I love the black sky... You will have to teach me how to do that...

Well done indeed,

Marty

Preciosas formaciones... este arco que abre una ventana al infinito, muy bien capturado!
Felicitaciones!

I like the effects here, the black through that arch really looks good.

Best wishes,

Great shot and surely looks impressive with the black background, the only think here is the white outline roundly to the hole, not well collaged here effect, at the top line the work is perfect.
cheers

You've achieved a very interesting effect here, Jacques, with the detail and texture of the rocks, and the dramatically dark sky behind. I like the composition, with the steps leading up to the opening to the ominous sky behind.
Dave.

You have done really good job to emphasize great details of this gatelike rock. To me the picture has a mythological aspect in itself.
