This an authentic jewel of the modern tecnique Susie.
It seems to me like an example of planets into the space linked each ones by means of a complex of a satellite net.

A wonder piece of selective focusing on this beautifully decorated segment of a web Susie. Maybe there is a hint of disruption from the breeze but overall it is a wonderful nature abstract with excellent reflections caught in the rain drops. Cheers again Nessa ~ I wish we got the good right conditions for photographing the webs, when I lived in a village near Oxford we used to get big hairy 'wilburs' and I loved their heavy webs but here they are too fine and catch every whisper of breeze!

I like the 'science fiction from nature' look about this image. I don't think it matters much that it's not as sharp as you'd like - I'm happy to see it for what it is, not what it could be. If that makes sense!

Many thanks Bek ~ I'd have love the air to be still as this was akin to catching a good shot of someone on a swing ~ LOL! The perfect weather conditions don't come together too often so just had to try a few shots and hope for the best :)

Many thanks for your comments Chris ~ I've found the conditions have to be just right.. usually starting out misty followed by very gentle rain to coat the webs without destroying them.. yesterday morning was a bit too breezy but had to try anyway ~ happy hunting!

Remarkable picture, well seen. The orange is a perfect vibrant background as you can see it distorted in each droplet. Now you will have me looking for spider webs everytime it rains! Thanks for sharing.
