You have a wonderful way with words, and expressing yourself especially while teaching at the same time.
Have You heard this about a million times ? It's very true my friend, and I am grateful to call YOU friend!
I've been thinking about You and your family and what you'd mentioned about the month of Nov. since I hadn't seen any new images posted recently ( altho just got home from work so haven't looked this afternoon).
I know You said it is a busy month with b-days, etc. then Thanksgiving , and the very ending topped off by 'The King Of Cools b-day !! Yahoooooooooooooo !!!

There it is Michele.
Lovely composition and flawless roses are NOT the end all be all of existence. Love the perspective in your about section that the beauty remains with the flaws . . . true in all things (IMO)!
The use of water to enhance florals has long been recognized as a shortcut to decorating the beauty given us by God . . . which can only be improved by more of nature's gifts . . . not by man's. Absent rain, a mister bottle of water would apply a similar effect . . . and I can't help but think of each drop as a jewel of nature . . . adorning a gift, like jewels accent beautiful women without overpowering them.
Your choice of this rose was great. Absolutely beautiful color! Very well rendered. The unopened bud in the BG makes a great accent and the overall composition is quite nice.

This lovely rose puts a :) on my face.
