It looks quite "wooden" with all those darker brown and black tones. But also like a drawing (not painting!) It has something of a modern work of somebody living in the less priviledged regions of some big city. Actually I could suggest that as the artwork for the cover of some CD of an independend label.

Very very contemplative in its way, as the dog simply ceases to have a name and becomes a living being of who knows where. Such photos are for looking and thinking about something that can't be put down to words. It could be a distorted memory of a moment in time, a symbolic mapping of reality to a dream, or simply nothing more than a head of a dog on a darker background.

Very interesting and surely not the picture that one looks only once.
