I don't think I used NI on this one, Jan. The smoothness was the effect of the filter - "Reminiscing," from OptikVerve Labs, I believe, as this was taken several months ago...

Gayle -- I like the ghostly look of the life savers (almost like X-RAYs) showing in the jar and the nice range of gray tones throughout. Good use of selective focus. The picture has a smooth/soft effect; did you use NeatImage on the picture?
