Sorry, Earl. I appended the wrong photo. Here's the one I intended ...

A nice portrait of lovely children, Earl. I agree with Doyle about the frame. Lightening up the faces would help, as would increasing the contrast in a way to bring out a bit more character in the kids' faces. See attached for my two cents.

For Your Consideration! :)

Good point Addison and well done on the critique. I would also add (since this is a CC image) that the frame is a tad distracting and takes attention from what should be the star of this photo . . . the two great looking children with biggo smiles attached.

Natural looking expressions and a great idea . . . Let them be the stars here . . . not a fancy frame which (frankly) is usually used by people to draw attention away from a poorer shot.

Just my opinion of course . . . :)

Great candid of two beautiful kids.

My only question would be, "Can you brighten these great faces a little more?"

Maybe a little tonal ("levels," "curves," "brightness/contrast") correction in an image editor.

These are two of the world's great kid faces, and they could be brought more "to light," with some help.

Great pose, composition, and perfect expressions.
