Forgive my late reply. I have not been in UF for some time. Life is currently overly hectic.
Warmest Regards, Aniko :)

Hi Michele!
Wow... I didn't think this would get such a great response.
I was actually wishing to catch the pic of the car in a more "interesting" part of the very wild road, but as you can see, we were coming into strong sunlight, and it was shoot now or never.
The car IS nice, and when we have these great cars for weddings, I always do my best to get a shot like this (part of my routine, unless I have to do the shoot without an assistant... haven't mastered the art of shooting and driving at the same time... lol)... Anyway, I have found most people (usually the brides) will pick this type of shot for their wedding album. The bride riding in this car away from her family home, sure did. :)
Reminds me of the Tori Amos lyrics: "Mother the car is here... somebody leave the light on... just in case I lke the dancing, I can remember where I come from..."
I'm so pleased you like this Michele nd your comments are always highly appreciated.
Warm Wishes my friend, Aniko :)

WoW ! Hello Aniko ,
When I read how you managed to take this image I was very impressed cause it's such a cool picture . Even if all conditions were easier for shooting this it couldn't have come out much better IMO ..You did really well . This car is soo Nice, and the road is wild ! I also like you did it in B&W .. This is a 7++... I just Love it ! Take Care my friend, Michele~

Thanks Onie!!!
Amazing how many people like to use vintage cars as the bridal/weddings cars. They do like kinda funky :) And nothing has changed... this was shot following the bridal car from her parent's house which is in the country... dusty unmade gravel roads... lol... cough cough... ROFL! Unmade roads are still the norm in so many parts of Australia, as well you know.
Can't imagine how I got this through the windscreen which was beginning to collect dust... LOL!, but glad I managed it. :)
Thanks for your very kind comments, my friend!
Cheers! Ani :)

Hi Paul and thank you!
As you can see, I had to grab this shot while we were still in part shade from the trees. We were about to drive into glaring sunlight.
Yes, it is rather like an old movie scene! :)
All the loving best to you Paul!

LOL... I've just read Pauls comment... We must be watching the same movie... For my part, I'm sure they used the car in an earlier scene to escape from the *folks*...
Onie... :)

Ani... My first thoughts were an escape scene from a 50's movie... and then, *I've stepped back to childhood*... My uncles had cars like this... The boot would open down and there would be a seat we kids, if lucky, were allowed to have a ride in... The smell of fresh air filled with dust, crunching gravel because unmade roads were the norm... hair flying, cough! cough!!! LOL...
Love the tones, so very suitable for the era... You did extremely well shooting thru' the windscreen... :)
Onie...

Indeed! Very great image Aniko! I'm very impressed with your skill on this one! Reminds me kinda of one of the older movie classics. Like how they drive away at the end of the movie! Super great lighting, tones and details! Wonderful view my friend!
Big Congrats!

Thank you Dear Shirley!
I must find an even better shot from a different wedding (I always attempt to capture the car as we follow it). Many brides and grooms go for vintage cars. I have a great shot that I think you'll enjoy. I will search for it. :)
Hugs~ Aniko :)

The light area in front of the car is actually quite a steep part of the road. I had to grab the pic as I could.
