Very sweet and a great composition! First I felt too that I would have loved to see the eyes, but the longer I look the more I realise that it's not important on this shot. Because it's a different angle it makes it interesting in another way. And the funny expression is there even if the eyes can't be seen. I think this is very good!

Great shot, very good coloring and light, I like the angel.
I would have crop the top a bit, to bring the animal more in focus. If you scroll foto down and look to the treangel in upper left corner is gone, se what that do to foto.
