Great shot. I was going to comment on the lack of flare and how you got rid of it, but you explained. Any chance we could see the original shot, that includes the flare, for a comparison? This is a really awesome composition that was obviously worht dealing with the extreme weather.

Foto stupenda e, grazie alle tue spiegazioni, si comprende anche il lavoro che c'è dietro. Non solo il paesaggio, ma soprattutto i colori danno il senso del freddo. Normally, I don't believe in commenting on photos when I have nothing to add other than useless comments such as 'perfect', 'nice image', 'beautiful' etc. This is an exception. I cannot think how this image could possibly be improved. It is one of the very, very few images that really deserve an 'excellent' rating. Well done!
