an excellent composition with the perfect shallow dof...good detail in the bud and nice framing with the trees...the flash really was an asset giving you the monochrome effect, which I like...an equally good presentation

Very nice composition with just enough framing around the bottom. I like the contrast of the background to the flower. It really emphasizes the pink color. In regard to your comment about the color in mine, the variety I have is white with just a wee bit of pink at the base. This accounts for the lack of color. Thanks for the comment.
