Thx for the comments Jim, all my work is done in available light. The back ground looked a little to busy so I always carry a small 3x3 black cloth that I can drop behind the subject.

Oh, this is so nice. I really like the light here. I also find your composition very strong with the placement of the flower in the frame and the diagonal stem.
Is that natural light or did you light it? Also, how did you get the black background?
