I admit to often accentuating the green of her eyes, which are nowhere near as green in "life". The cross processing picks the colour up more and I can bump it again in PS... ~~wink~~~

I had actually considered doing exactly what you said re change to B&W and manually colour. In fact I did start a version like that.
I have a couple of versions of this PS worked image, as well as the original, but I did not save the B&W one. This one pleases me more... it's all subjective :) To me, her skin tones here are not really yellow, but rather more pale cream. I like it :) (You should see the original.. it is YELLow... lol.. ie: shoutingly so!) :)And yet, it was chosen as a featured image in an international magazine. Like I said, all subjective...

With those green eyes, I'm aching for this shot to have way less yellow. Perhaps convert to b&w then manually color in her skin tones?
