Ah.. yup, that's the lens. In fact, I was probably about 15 yards away. It was breath-taking being so close and yet the only thing they cared about in the world was plucking salmon from the water. Tomorrow I'll post a spectacular shot of a salmon jumping right into a bear's mouth... stay tuned for more! Ron

hi and welcome to UF!...takes my breath away! i have to ask if this is correct lens listed as can't imagine not using at least a 300mm to keep a proper distance?....
love the point of focus,motion blur and clarity of BG...i tried to get a shot of a grizzly at Yellowstone one Summer,but as soon as i saw thru my zoom that he was barrelling downhill at a fast clip,i beat feet to the car!...LOL... Happy holidays,gayle

Ron-- good action shot! The blur gives the feeling of action and movement. Excellent capture. Fisherman fight like this all the time for the best fishing spots. --Best to you, Jan
