And if you hadn't taken this photo, one, your daughter wouldn't have this remarkable shot for an outward perspective of her memory, and two, the constructive comments wouldn't have been made and therefore the inspiration for the 2nd attempt never done.. THat is why I like this site and why I like the constructive ideas that pop out from time to time!

I guess mom should let them be...but...
There was this unbelievable sunset, we were on holidays at the beach, as a family, with my husband, one of our sons and our two daughters and their partners, where were they gonna get any privacy?? And they were playing so joyfully it was my responsibility as Usefilm member to share this joy!
My daughter is a photographer also, soon to join usefilm, she bartered her time for use of my tripod. Fair deal, I reckon. CC

Excellent photo! I adore the warm colours and reflections combined with the unity of two dancing people. Well done! Hey, btw- maybe it will be even greater if you crop off the sky?

This is a great shot with a very creative concept and lovely colours. I like the hint of movement in the arm. I just wish the reflections were complete. A little increase in contrast might also deepen the silhouettes. But I do like this...

Oh, so very well done, Cathy. You've got quite a reflective shot here. Excellent lighting and composition. I would have expected an award out of this one. Quite good!

Thankyou Kalid, You are correct about the incomplete reflection, it bugs me that I cut their heads off. I had set the tripod up incorrectly. Maybe next time!
I had a brief wander through your amazing portfolio and can understand why the cut off reflection caught your eye, your works are immaculately composed. I shall return to them this evening when I have more time to appreciate them. CC

Thanks Larry, as for anyone going splash-I had my back to the waves and was wearing a long skirt-you may have guessed I'm not very bright! With a camera in my hand I become so focussed that the threat of drowning doesn't enter my consciousness! CC
