About	I wanted to try my hand for a merlion shot that has never been done before, this is the result of my attempt. I risk my camera getting wet by capturing this shot. I set up my Gitzo tripod for this shot just after sunset where there is enough light to see the detail texture in the forground and chose a depth of field that keep everything in focus. I chose a shutter speed together with maximum dept of field to prevent the loss of scale detail on the merlion and yet illuminated enough to provide a errie feel to the composition. The bluish evening light together with the stormy cloud helps to create a dramatic mood and blue tone that i found difficult to replicate. It started to pour heavily after that. comments welcome
