A good idea, Christine! Indeed well seen. It could be better, if the water had been a bit more for keeping the interruptions of the reflected silhouette to a lower extend, and thus allowing a somewhat more complete view of it. This way the silhouette does not really disappear between the non-reflective surfaces of the rocks, but its strength is a bit too weak. Perhaps a solution for giving a bit more visual strength to the silhoutte would be to shoot the photo from a higher point - though of course nobody carries a ladder for such cases ;-)

Your D200 with the Nikor Micro 105 seems to make a great job considering details and sharpness. What kind of lens is that, if I may ask? Is it a lens for macro/micro that can still be used for focusing infinity?

Best wishes,

Nick

Hi Christine,

Nice view, that puts a :) on my face !

I agree with Jason on the rotation of 180 degrees.
Well seen and done ! Excellent harmonic colours and good composition. I like the - a bit mysterious - image a lot. Compliments !

Greetz,
Albert Jacobs

I like this creative shot of yours, Christine. Good eye! I also think it would be a good image rotated 180 degrees. What do you think?
