Thanks for your observations and comments guys. I missed the shoulder aspect as I was all caught up in the loss of detail, but you are very right a slight turn towards camera would help.
I do have others; however they are with Chris & Cynthia and the will not return until after the Easter weekend. If they choose any I will post them. Until then thanks again.
A small hair light would have been beneficial here to throw a little light into here hair against his shirt. A dark shirt wasn't the ticket here either because of the color of her hair. And the pose is a little akward. She seems to have lost her shoulder. Was it painful? Just kidding. but you get the drift. She seems to end abruptly. It is unbalanced. Having her face more toward the camera would have helped. And a slight tilt to her head toward him would have added a little warmth to the image. Did you shoot more of this couple? Like to see the others.
Dan, I like how the light looks on the backdrop. It's not necessary for me to see every detail in the shot, however; as you stated, a tad more light would bring it out more. I'd like to see more on her hair. It gets lost in his shirt, but you already know that.
