The originals have degraded quite a bit - this being one of the reasons I devoted many hours in scanning them. At first, I attempted to correct the colours one by one, but then I found that the automatic function of colour restitution in the scanning software was doing an incredible job and saving a huge amount of time. Only here and there was it required that I retouched the result.

Hi Christian! Can´t believe this (and the other ones) are so old ... very well preserved! Luckily children find ways to play even in surroundings like these. Great photojournalism!
