Well, when shooting macro, try using strobes or flash to give it as much light as you can. Then, you can stop it down to f 8 or 11, and get a less-than-paper-thin DOF. ;)

yes it was f2.8. It is a great lens, it takes a bit to get used to because of the fine DOF on it especially for macros but once you get the hang of it you can do some cool stuff.

Wow. One of the test labs said it had the best optics of any lens they'd tested. Judging by this shot, I canna argue. ;)
