The question is- did you pick it and blow it after your photo shoot? It's hard to resist.
This one is beautiful too. I just love the detail on the delicate blooms that you captured. Well done!

My stupid head doesn´t work well these months! Of course there´s less light entering the cam when using such tubes and therefore you need 900ISO! Thank you so much for taking the time to explain this to me:-)The shot is so appealing to view. Best wishes Annemette

So many tings to say...where to start? I know, you look exceptionally nice today! Those bright blue "wellies" paired with the bermuda shorts, a great look for you! Nah, just kidding...I only mention your attire if I'm trying to butter you up before telling you BSTB...
not so here, it is a great shot Doyle. Excellent dof...sharp where it should be AND retaining some wonderful detail in the blurred portion...nice work!
How about another but backlit this time? I'd try it my self but...I'm fresh out of dandelions right now...soon enough though, say three or four months...arrrrgh!
Take care...Robin

Doyle, Anything Less then a 7 would be un-thinkable. This is Perfect in every aspect of the word. I Love how the outter softer parts accentuate the inside and frame up the shot to perfection. The Fantastic (Doyle) frameing of the shot brings everything together. Well done my Friend!!!!!

Cactus!?!? Oh my! Annemette - The ISO setting was at 900 for this shot because 68mm of the extension tubes has really affected the focal length which is limited to 105mm by the lens . . . but, since I was using the tubes, the lens was considerably extended past the normal mounting . . . and very considerable change is needed in order to retain that shutter speed . . . which would have had to have been slowed considerably with a lower ISO to allow proper lighting. Aperture (f/8.0) is already responsible for a razor thin DOF with the tubes so a slow shutter would have made a more glowing, yet softer image with a loss of focal clarity. I could have changed it a tad but, frankly, I was handholding the camera for this shot. Of course . . . the only real enemy would have been digital noise, or grain . . . something a high ISO often causes. So, I simply shoot with the highest ISO for this type of shot which does not cause the noise . . . and several of these shots DID have the noise and were summarily discarded. Trial and error. Hope this helps a bit . . . :)
