About	As a hobby I grow Amaryllis. I started with a single bulb several years ago. All of my bulbs are clones of the original bulb. I have given away a number of bulbs but have 8 growing in my window now. This bulp is the first to bloom and has two bloom stems with a total of 8 flowers. As the others bloom I am sure I will be posting more and hope to find some more original ways of presenting them. I would appreciate some suggestions.

Thanks for you comment and good luck if you do try growing Amaryllis. They really are very easy to grow but a bit more work if you want to multiply them. Del.

This is interesting because it proves there are no hard and fast rules in photograpy... the harsh shadows produced by the flash would be frowned upon by a lot of 'purists', but in this instance I think they work really well. The quality of light produced is very successful too.

A close up of the flowers would be great! They are very showy flowers and we've decided to try them too, see if my wife manages to grow them. Would look forward for more!
