About I´m taking care of my mother´s dog for a month, and he is a very active, noisy and playful little dog. Every animal has a personality of its own which can be seen when spending some time with them. They are not just meatrobots on four legs, with wings or sth. third. They deserve our respect.

Yes indeed - the small ones make themselves bigger by roaring(as once in a while also seen in the human world;-))and the big ones remain calm not feeling the necessity to be loud and "big":-) Okay there are breeds that don´t follow this pattern as with some big "muscledogs" bred to be alert and unfortunately somewhat aggressive.
Yes thank you, fortunately my mother is doing well although losing my father 1 1/2 year ago and also taking care of my two severely braindamaged sisters living at home, but she´s a Leo with a capital L:-) She´s power, heart and will to live for many people:-) Anyway I´m happy to help her out dogsitting for a month giving her some peace to study as she lives in an apartment and can´t let the dog out in a garden. Blahblah blah I´ll stop!
Thanks for commenting:-)

Amazing POV for this wonderful shot and (you know) the philosophy may as well have been written by me . . . so true. Love this guy's pose and he apparently has what Marny and I have seen many times - Small Dog Syndrome. A tough lil guy whose actions seem to be designed to "Prove Something" whereas the bigger Lt. Henry has nothing to prove and . . . like many others . . . illustrates the 'gentle giant' concept. Dog-sitting for a month? Uh oh . . . hope all is well with your mum! Anyway . . . what a cutie!! :)

Regards,
Doyle I<~~~~~

Thanks for your comment, Jan. Yes, the two dogs are mates although they are very different in regards of size, age and temper. The little one is very alert all the time and has a very hot temper whereas the big one is very calm and gentle. Still they play so well with each other. It´s very moving wittnessing such a friendship where they find their own way of playing. My big dog loves to wrestle and he has huge paws, but he is very gentle with the small one that on the other hand can get more rough and jump up in the face of the big one. Very funny to see:-)

Clever point of view; it looks like he is standing up and asking you to take and throw his toy so he can run and fetch. I also enjoyed seeing him in comparison to Little Henry. I hope they get along well.

Sounds like this fellow has wriggled his way into your heart. I love the perspective. CC
