Hi Joe, this shot looks really nice, super colours, but thats what the 17-40 does. To me, I like it better than the 24-105 on your landscapes. But, you will know best by looking at full rez shots. Let me know what you decide. Best regards, Art. The grip will come in handy for the 5D especially the vertical shots. Nice camera.

Hey Joe,
saw this photo already a few days ago and I wondered what to say. Happens sometimes, you see a photo you like but why?
Obviously this kind of landscape is highly popular for colours etc,...I think that the animal tracks finish it of. Signs of life in the wilderness, makes you wonder how they survive?
A bit pity that the horizon is in the midst of the shot, but what is perfect? Nothing, right:)
