I have tried and tried to get a photo of Flamingos that looked good, I've found it difficult due to the skinny frame and not being able to get a shot of the birds in flight. This and a number of other images seemed to work purely because of the water droplets
Unfortunately I have to agree, even though the original images viewed at 100% are technically ok, such as it's razor sharp, DOF correct, the colours are accurate it does lack punch. It may be that the subjects have to compete with too much background interference.
Hi Terry, I had a good look at this one and your other shot with the two flamingos, and while the shots are both very good, there just seems to be a lack of pop to both, and I'm not sure what it is, whether its the lighting, exposure or contrast. The colours are quite exquisite. Best regards.
