Thanks Ina for all the comments. My wife and I were a little ambitious skating the length of the canal and back. We were tried and my wife had a couple of blisters from her new skates when we got back. We haven't skated that much in years. As I said in a previous post, it was a rather nice day and not too cold. I was a little nervous about the camera. I have a convenient Lowepro chest pack that I put the camera in when skating. It is good for activities like that because the camera is provided some protection when in the pack and you can easily and quickly remove it to take shots.

Wow, you're pretty brave - first to be skating that far, then to carry the camera as you were skating, and finally... I feel cold just looking at the pictures! The juggler doesn't seem to wear much of a heavy coat either. Great capture and colors of a winter day! Ina
