Thanks Eb, I will definitely look into Helicon; many of my macro shots are done using the double-lens tecnique, in which it's almost impossible to keep the two lenses focused for long periods of time into the same spot; I usually get 1-3mm of focused area.

I could try exposure bracketing in my camera for a simple 3 shot HDR. mmmm....

Franciso, why not HDR in macro photography? It takes a good tripod and remote release. There are also programs which create unlimited depth of field from multiple exposures. Google "Helicon" for a demo.

Thanks, I will work a little bit more in the future, I got the extra dynamic range in the shadows shooting raw. The jpeg was not optimal in the dark areas. I adjusted the highlights a bit. Hard to make a HDR image in macro photography.

Wow, you get right into the flower with good focus and depth of field! The point of view createds good perspective and depth. I might reduce the contrast curve somewhat and get a little texture back into the highlight, but your rendering is great!
