Very nice, the focus is PERFECT and cover all the are of the flower so well, it's a beautiful macro Michele.

That`s very strong winds,you might try pushing your ISO but be careful of NOISE unless you plan to use a noise remover.

Thank YOU Robbie I always have been VERY STRONG -- Soo I want to stay this way. . ...
Knowing me I would carry the lighter pound tripod, and some kind of additional wieght... then find --- other additional wieght -
And pooof my shot would be gone !
I appreciate tossing this around but Robbie if I live where the winds are normally 30-50 mphr every other season..then what do YOU think ?

You are a very strong lady to use a 50 lb tripod!!!!There are tripods that has a hook for you to add additional weight,maybe one of those would do you good.

Thank You Robbie for checking it out. I didn't realize what an expensive hobby I had chosen... let alone where I live and like to go ... all heavily windy places.
I can't afford more $ yet--so I need to wait and not buy something just for the moment or season...
I want it for life!!! Silly-- but I do.. and it must wiegh as close to 50 lbs. as I can ever afford -- --- as the winds are just
that minimum when the action begins ---

Thanks for the wonderful comments but I don`t think telling me your shooting method in the van a good idea,you don`t know WHO reads your comments.
Re the tripod,what`s your ideal weight,with that price range it`s difficult to get a good one that is very heavy.

Thank you very much just to look is a big help for me right now. I honestly don't know if this is possible at all, but between $50-75--adjustable legs, and would be nice to have a carrying case... up to $100 max.
It needs to be very heavy like an anchor almost...

I need a tripod myself and I am looking for a ballhead but you might need one with adjustable legs for rough terrain and to shoot low level
with a panhead.Will look for one that you will like,any price range?

They give me support and encouragement on bum days, and enthusiasm on happy days. You know how it goes...
Well I haven't thought about spraying water on the flowers this winter but I like the idea and I have done it in the summer...
Softening them.. that is a good idea.. I haven't done that in awhile. Great ideas I like them both... Thank you ..
Robbie, I am not able to buy a new tripod yet, and when I work it's pushing it a lot bringing my camera with me--- couldn't bring a tripod too -- or my boss would not like it too much... the majority of floral shots come from work--- and I actually sometimes pull over on the hyway and get in the back of the van and shoot away....
What I really need is a heavy duty tripod for windy areas. Have you seen them on ebay ? I really need to use one more often but the one's I have I should throw away as they are only good for inside.

I am very lucky to sort of 'spread joy' in a way- And as you point out--I also get to smell and handle a van full of beautiful flowers !!
Sometimes especially when the weather is rainey and very windy I just pull over on the hyway and take pictures in the van !! This was one of those times !!
