So you did that without any light metering at all? Wow, hat off!

Hi Dirk and thanks a lot for the info about the camera! (Which might help me avoiding to kidnap yours ;-))

What about light metering? Dies it have any built-in light meter?

Anyway, it's perhaps simple but it seems to be a real absorber of finest details. As Andre Denis has already said, better to make equipment that does some certain things but does them perfectly, instead of making equipment that does everything but poorly.

Best wishes,

Nick

p.s.: There is not an EV setting on the camera and no light meter.
It is very simple.
Dirk.

Thank you very much for your kind comment!
I still love working with film, and I feel it still gives that old grainy feeling in a photograph.
About the camera, check e-bay, I payed only $ 220.00 for mine, which is a very reasonable price.
It is a Horizon 220 camera 35mm.
Dirk.

Hier we can see very very well, how low the resolution of film cameras is, according to the doctrines of companies that created the digital hype! ;-)

But seriously, the tiniest details and the finest textures on street and walls are remarkable for themselves! Add the excellent perspective and here we are classical, wonderful wide angle photography. Only a small overexposured part at the top left - perhaps a small correction of some EV downwards would have helped, Dirk!

Best wishes,

Nick

P.S.: Hmm, let me see how I could find your address for a small totally innocent kidnapping of your camera! ;-)
