Thank you Devon. It is amazing what you can notice in a picture that you don't see when you see the same thing everyday. Would sure like to see more of your pictures.

Doyle -- No way will I give you Nancy's number - I am in enough trouble on a day by day basis without you adding fuel to the fire. I could wind up in that dog house with the toilet paper. --Jan

I absolutely love this picture! It's so wild! You know that old phrase people used to say about every picture has a story behind it. Well, this is a great picture of the desert, which later I figured out was our front yard! Lol, I'm kidding, but to get serious I really enjoy this picture because you managed to capture every detail of plants on that side of the yard. Also, the small things that I notice make the 'garden' much more enjoyable to look at because to me, it makes the whole picture seem more... calm, relaxing... like the little bear on the left side of the photo and the stepping stone that is facing the camera, which coincidently has glass flowers on it. Well done! Keep up the good work!
~Your favorite son! Devon ;)

Thank you Jan....all I have to do to put Doyle in line is go to Home Depot's garden department and look at cactus......he runs like a rabbit.

Thank you Annemette. My cats do like to lay in the grass area right under the cactus but don't think any animal has ventured to close.

Thank you Michele, so glad you like the "garden". I did do some trimming yesterday the big guy...and Doyle helped. Don't really notice much difference except where you get out of the car. The garden really is my pride and joy....glad you like it.

Marlyce -- Thanks so much for sharing your delight and Doyle's fear. Now we know that if he gets out of line we just have to waive a cactus plant at him. :) To put it in the vernacular: These are big suckers. Amazing. --Best to you, Jan

Oh so this is your cactusgarden that Doyle fears so much and that keeps the children from running out through the windows at night*LOL* Impossible to get in between those cacti! I mean if an animal gets stuck in there or hides, you canīt really go in there or what? I saw a fence in Aruba once that was made by living cacti - good way to stay safe:-) I can only grow tiny ones in my windows here in Denmark:-( Thanks for sharing, Marlyce:-)

WoW !! Marlyce -- At Loong Last we get to see it-' The Cactus Garden' ... Thank You soo much for the 'about' as I would Never have guessed where that horribly strong pointed cactus had got the bee was + not much else. I have to admit it is larger than I had even imagined , and the plants are really BIG--some of them . How old is this garden ? Approximately - maybe ? I understand better now why Doyle might be afraid of this place lol !!!
It is totally unique and lovely tho Marlyce if you ever feel like posting any other points of view I would Love to see them all . I am just amazed by the amount of cactus, the size, and well... all aspects about it I guess.
Thank YOU soooooooooo much for posting this image and sharing this with Us..I know others will love to view it as well-- so I hope you get some interesting reading !!
It's almost like having a weapons area in your yard for if a stranger with no good intentions threatened you - one swift push into the cactus garden and 'poof' end of that problem , Hahaaa!!!! 7+++++++++++++++++++++++++++
Many Thank You's Dear, Michele~
