About
photo taken in early evening twilight at Lake Louise, AB Canada After a few hours of hiking and shooting, the mountain seemed to say "...you've seen enough for today, come back again tomorrow, it's time to rest now...."
*Dear J Esford! thanks for your compliments. yeah, i know that you have taken this shot in a low kelvin of the light and when the sunset was going to finished, and also know that it convey an atmosphere of solitude from a crazy world. that's exactly why i interested to comment it! but i mean: adjusting: controlling and changing the levels in PS to enhance the colour range and it's intense. look at the clouds, i see some pixeles there.this matter cause by the low dpi and compressing while you are saving your file for uploading. anyway...thanks for your reply and will folloe your works.
Yes my friend I see what you mean. You're an obvious veteran here at UF, with many contributions, high numbers and with many well-deserved awards (many "Best of-" recognitions, congratulations!). Thank you for taking time out to comment on this particular piece. For me this shot conveyed a sense/atmosphere of solitude from a crazy world, accomplishment of another's day's travelling, golden beauty of the fast approaching stillness of the night. This shot was the culmination of a sunset which unfolded over one of the most colorful landscapes I have ever had the pleasure to photograph. In this shot, the colors are at rest, that magic Canadian sunlight glows faintly, the glacier runs slowly, that sharp image fades to blurry black. I have seen many many outstanding shots of this magical place in perfect lighting, with perfect symmetry, perfect clarity with perfect tones. It's true, this is not one of those shots. It wasn't meant to be, but thank you for looking anyway. Best regards, john
the symmetery is realy nice Esford, but this kind of nature photography indeed needs more sharpness and higher contrast with vivid colour tone. the composition is nice. would be glad if you look through my works!
