Indeed my own problem with this one, James! At shooting time I considered the horizontal division into two parts, one of the in highlight and the other in darkness, to be interesting. But the problem is then, as we see, how to keep the same amount of contrast between the red berries and leaves and both of the backgrounds? There must be a way, so I am still seeking!
I want to like this one a lot. The curves and the composition are great. The problem I have is that the background does not offer up the foreground properly. I wish the lower half were lighter (though perhaps darkening the sky would also work).
