Looking through your portfolio, it's really quite surprising that this one didn't get any award. Maybe just not enough saturation in the image? Who knows... you really make the light work for you though, I must say. Cheers from BC... Gary :)

Very nicely captured. I'm not used to seeing such "soft" shots that stand out before me. This is one of those shots. It really creates a warm feel to it. I like it very much. Nicely modeled. -john

The angle of the soft light, tones and slight desaturation make this stand out beautifully. The catchlights and detail in her eyes are wonderful. Another thing that I love here is the crop -- the placement of her eyes in the upper third and, most of all, she is just slightly off center. It is a lesson in portraiture. Just right! 7+ Antonia
