About The Old man of Storr and it's neighbouring satelites is surely one of the most dramatic and mystical looking edifices in Britain. It is singularly enhanced when low cloud rolls over the top partially obscuring the towering cliffs. I photographed this a little later in the day than i would have planned but was fortunate to have such clear clean light that the colours simply leapt off the transparency. I avoided the use of a polariser as the shadows were already a touch harsh and that would have filled them in completely. Please visit my website at www.transientlight.co.uk and www.timecatcher.com

There is a richness and depth to this photo that can only be displayed from a film image. I imagine that your transparency is even more revealing. I just can't imagine getting this level of detail from either 35mm or digital.

Detail is excellent and the exposure superb. Proof that film is still very much alive. Good stuff.
