Thank You Nicole I am like a new person now just got up at 3am because I felt sooo good :)) Now I am tiring a bit too early-BUT it's Sunday so a perfecet day to get back in balence..... We have rainey cold weather but dear Nicole in Kansas, it is tornados' wiping out entire towns and pretty sad scenarios's !!!

When I get the best setting D40 is amazing --- but then sooo is D70 !!! I am very pleased with this camera --- but it is my first DSLR--- and these are my first couple of hundred shots using total mannual :))

Hi dear Michele,
Although I don't think I ever go with a cruise for the reasons that Jan and you mention, I must admit that your view is a real invitation to jump on board.
Very nice colors, the nice blue water combined with the clear blue sky does invite. Nice use of the third rule. The people playing on the beach add life to this beautiful view. Good idea and very well done. Compliments, my friend !

Great shot Michele...looks very inviting, so sunny, warm, and blue!
Two things to add to the top ten reasons not to go on a cruise:
- cost of membership to the gym...simply cannot go carrying that extra winter weight.
- cost of tanning...who wants to show up in HI. looking like Casper the Friendly Ghost?

Yes, I was reading them, they had me rolling on the floor! Trust me, cruises aren't for everyone. The only reason I went on the second one is because I promised my nephew a trip of his choice for his high school graduation. He collected four years after the fact last fall (but hey, he made it home from Afghanistan ok, so I would have gone anywhere!). We went to Alaska, which was cool, because that is where i wanted to go to, but two excurisions were canceled, and for me, that's the only reason to go on the stupid cruises. Lots of money spent and lots of disappointment. Oh well, next time I go to Alaska I don't go by ship...
Add "BOREDOM" to the list... I don't like sitting around all the at sea time.

Niether one of us have been on one so it started sort of like a 'sour grapes' thing... but I am also not into food so much , and small cabins, but I do love to explore... and I love your bit about they are too well maintained for finding any rust to photograph...lol!!!!

Cruises... I've been on two (I won the first) and hated them both. I'm not a get "dressed up for dinner" kind of gal... and I go stir crazy on the ships... they are too well maintained and hard to find any rust to take photos of!

Beautiful vivid colours and laid-backmood. This reminds me of the times I´ve been on cruiseships. It amazed me that many people were more interested in the food and getting their portraits taken instead of exploring the islands and enjoying the sea.

Funny; lets come up with a bunch of reasons NOT to go on a cruise:
1. Seasick
2. Gain weight eating too much food
3. Lots of weird ship-board viruses give you the trots
4. Risk of cabin robbery
5. People fall off ship and disappear
6. Sunburn risk
7. Risk of having noisy neighbor in the next cabin
