A very interesting composition, Alison, and very well executed. I quite like the tonal and color contrast between the leaf and the person. I like it a lot.

Well my dear Alison,
I think this is a very nice play around shot, I wish I knew if the girl is there or it's a photo of her there, behind the leaf or it's a composition anyway,
It feels like an memorial shot for me, I think somebody wanted to remind the good memory of a nice lady, and it's so delicate...

Well, the lighting is a little too flat and the image could use more contrast.
The idea is interesting, (not by any means NEW but still !) Playing around, shooting at things, using different angles and technique gives one ideas. Also post processing skills. Here is how I would have presented this image, not 100% admittadly.
