Hello my lovely Rina.....Along time no see! I am no longer on the internet at home; I came off it to concentrate my mind on my dear brother Ian's plight. For info look in on posting called 'IAN' also a different email address. I am busy seeing to his needs in most of my spare time and apart from a few garden shots my camera has been ignored most of this year. I bought a new lens a few months ago....I have still to use it. Like yourself I pop my nose in to see if anyone is about and I was delighted to see you here and to receive your comment. I am just changing books at our local library and I have dived on a PC for an alloted hour. I cannot understand how I missed this post of yours in April.......too many other things on my mind I guess.
I miss being on UF but I was spending way too much time with it and I have had to exercise hard disciplines in order to achieve everything that is going on at present.
This is a terrific composition with a most wonderful rippled reflection. The colours are beautiful and the study is blessed with thoughtful cloud formations. Well done to you my sweet friend. I will try to keep in touch as best I can sweetie......Miss you my dear Rina. My very best wishes to you as always, the biggest of hugs and a long lingering kiss as well.......Ray

Very good shot, the colors are great and so the clarity, I likw the workj you did on the bird, you collage it pretty well and put rightly the reflection on the water...perchaps in reallity that shadow like shape must be a bit more ripped with some more transperacity, don't know but it needs something more, not big deal ofcaurse, I don't think I could put that with better way! :-)

This is a seagull, Nuff said LOL.. boy the big D really stuck his nose half way up on this shot, must be critique out of fear LOL.
No this is very nicely done love the composition you dont often see with a bird as the main subject. As for the Ill never hang it up, hooked etc.. I said that a couple years back, they are just about hung up now! And Gayle just here to respond to every forum post, Hijacking most of them, stirring up trouble etc.. Na she wouldnt do that would she LOL..

You framed this shot very well...i love the cyan which translates to Summer sky to moi...the reflections have the quality of impressionistic brushstrokes...and great timing to capture that gull at a stellar position/angle within the comp...cool silhouette of gull and like the shadow,too!...very appealing image,gurl and so nice to see you posting here again...maybe i,too,will post again soon...

Wow Rina!! I just LOVE the reflections in the wet sand . . . the water gives it a feel of a painting . . . and the graduated hues of blue in the sky give us a feeling of depth. Lovely and the accent of the bird is a great touch. Nice work!
