About I don't know much about why this photo was placed here -- whether the serviceman made it back or not. I do know that many Vietnam veterans were sorry to have to leave their dogs behind. My brother was one of many who left a dog behind.

Very little digital manipulation -- increased the saturation to try to bring out the photo of the serviceman and his dog.
