Hi Eric,
They can be found directly across the street from
27 Old Spanish Trail in the Los Trancos Woods section of Portola Valley.
To get there, take 280 North.
Then take the Alpine Rd exit and make a left going toward Portola. Turn left in Los Trancos Rd- go 1.9 mi. Turn left in Ramona Rd- go 0.7mi. Turn right on Vista Verde Rd- go 0.2. Left on Los Trancos Cir- go 0.1. Turn left on Lake Rd- go 0.1. and Bear left on Old Spanish Trail.
The pond will be on your right side.
Why don't you try to make it this weekend?
Who knows for how long they are going to stick around.
