Beautiful Michele...:))) Love sepia, lovely feeling of times gone by... This is a lovely bridge with all curves and struts, intricate guard rail...:)))
I understand what Robbie means... Besides the fog, being near the river also puts a lot of fine moisture droplets in the air which can sometimes affect the outcome...
I hope you don't mind dear friend, had a little play in PS and it did come up, but, had to be careful so as not to lose the definition in those glorious clouds... I won't post it unless you would like to see... Also, any I do see if I can help a little, are deleted when uploaded... or next day... :)))
Excellent detail & composition Michele...:)))
Warm Hugs...:)))

A very nice shot of an attractive old bridge, Michele. The old lattice work steel (could be iron) beams and trusses in the bridge are very nice. It gives it a very light and airy appearance. Nice composition. I can understand using sepia for an image of a historic bridge like this.
Being a colour zealot, I can't help myself from giving my opinion that I feel this shot would be more attractive and interesting in colour. There is so much information missing in B&W and monotone images.
All the best, Joe

Thank YOU Robbie--- I just got told about the contrast prior to your comment so it's obviously a problem--- altho we do have a lot of real true fog here on the coast shots:) I know about the pc up-grade BIG time in everyway--- right now it's a financial problem Robbie--- it won't always be , but right now and for awhile it is gonna be a financial thing, maybe 2 months, possibly one month.... I appreciate your support and your time to teach me so I won't let you down but I am stuck with what I've got for a bit longer--- I do wish YOU luck on getting a monitor callibration device .....Sheeeshhhh.... my poor Dell ME - used for hrs every single day for almost 8 yrs!!! It's amamzing it works at all .... You are right I need a new pc.....
Best wishes, Michele~

Excellent composed image Michele, nice sepia tones. Some of your recent images have a low contrast that makes it looks dull and foggy.I don`t know if it`s your monitor that needs calibrating[my images looks great like I want it to be but when posted on UF it looks inferior,so I check all my uploads if I don`t like it I delete it.I will have to get a monitor calibration device]Wish me luck. You need to upgrade your puter, you are no longer a NOVICE!! A skilled craftswoman needs good tools!!! Don`t underestimate your talent Michele, don`t forget who your teachers are!!!!!!!!LOL!!! Come in D..... Take care Robbie
