Thanks, Lori... you've missedappeared again.. must be playing out on the roadside taking pics of all the relatives in the wildflowers or TX... don't forget to not pay attention to the background and get all the road signs in... it's a Texas custom.
(my daughter and I roar when we see people sitting on the freeway taking family pics in the wildflowers. I always threaten her I;m going to make her pose there...)

Great shot. I live in rural Virginia and I've been thinking latley as I pass old "dilapidated" homes and barns that I should jump out of the truck and "shoot" them. They won't be around for ever you know. I think you have just inspired me. (thats hard to do by the way) Perhaps this could be a Usefilm project.

Lovely colour Dave! I just wonder why the farmer not just ploughed over this old house? He must have some pretty good reasons since this is really dilapidated. Regards. Joggie

Heya Dave!
Yeah... I see easily that is a slope and not an uneven "horizon". The dilapadated farm is enchanting. The red clay is typical of that which we have but a few miles from here mainly on farmla nd that grows tupips and root crop vegetables. And as Shirley says, impossible to get out of white clothes! Then again, I don't much like white clothes... lol... off-white... yeah, at a stretch. :)
Nice shot Dave. Great subject matter and also so pleased to see you! I am rarely online these days.
Big Hugs~ Ani :)

And it's got the little bit of grass? Amazing....Such a contrast here, love it!
Just read your bio.....my first 'serious' camera was a used Yashiga rangefinder, and still have it! I got lots of miles out of it, still works. (I think!)

Now now now, Michele... that's not an uneven horizon... that's the rolling hills of the Texas panhandle.

Thanks, Gary. Yeah, I'm sure the farmer doesn't want to get to close with his rumbling tractor to gain another few feet of planting ground.

Hi Dave, Nice to see an old abandoned house again... and with the lawn around it is superb...!!! I can't beleive no one has brought up your un-level horizon tho ...Is it just me still with a headache (?) I do love the shot but if it were level I would think it was PERFECT :))
BEST WISHES, Michele~
