Thank you Ramy,
As for the effect, in addition to 16mm lens, I used the corner of the room for a bit of drama. The details are: 16mm (Leica lens) Leica M8 Aperture F4 Exposure 16 seconds ISO 160 Time: 12:04:55 AM! (it was dark)
The light source is coming from a small garden light. Cheers John

Thanks Roger, as I wrote to Shelby, I was out by an hour. I just checked the DNG exif data and I was off by about an hour. As for the effect, in addition to 16mm lens, I used the corner of the room. The details are: 16mm (Leica lens) Leica M8 Aperture F4 Exposure 16 seconds ISO 160 Time: 12:04:55 AM! (it was dark)

As for an entry form for the Muswellbrook Photographic award, that would be very nice indeed, thank you very much.
Cheers John

You are right about the time Shelby. I just checked the DNG exif data and I was off by about an hour. The details are: 16mm (Leica lens) Leica M8 Aperture F4 Exposure 16 seconds ISO 160 Time: 12:04:55 AM!
The light source through the window is from a small garden light. In Australia at just after midnight, it is actually quite dark. PS: What benefit have I to gain in providing misleading information.

Hmm, it doesn't seem very much like 1:00a, but I really like it. I can identify with what it can do also. It can be quite challenging. I like the as is feel to this. That nothing was moved or arranged for it. Just a "this is how I feel" photo. Thank you for sharing.

You are always welcome John, and I think you are starting a wonderful series. By other side, the Leica M7 is my dream... hehe Take care, Leo

Thank you Leo. This is part of an autobiographical set on overcoming depression for which I have battled all of my life. But thanks to some fine people and their patience and help I am starting to find myself some peace. Besides being home is better than in hospital. So! I feel I owe it to those who have invested so much in me, to give something back. So, if my appearances and comments on UF appear somewhat "erratic" you at least know why. PS. Not all the photos will be bleak, particularly as I get better. regards John and thanks for your constant support.
PS: I love my new Leicas (M7 and M8 and the Leica lenses) I purchased - they are ideal for my purposes. Even though they look like toys, simply magnificent cameras and glass!
