What sheer beauty. I recently had the oportunity to photograph a sunrise at the Grand Canyon. Needless to say I was quite simply awestruck and could not help but think if there was a higher being's involvement in this gem.
Certainly a beautiful view, and the exposure and colors are really great. It shows great depth and fine focus.
The sky is a little bit pallid. Maybe a polarizer or split ND might have snapped it up a little bit? Or some selective editing...the sky just doesn't match the grandeur of the land below it.
The tree is used as a device for framing and near / far juxtaposition or distance cuing, but with the many branches, adds a bit of visual distraction....
