Thanks Tim, first of all , all the very best for your art show. I didnt have the time to go hiking. this place is called the Nathula Pass, this is the border of India and Tibet / China. U need a permit from the Sikkim State Police and Indian Army to come here. Photogrpahy in these areas have been recently allowed. This is the old Silk Route between India and China, and this trade route has been opened up once again from this year. I took a car from the State Capital Gangtok , and came to visit the Nathula Pass.

Looks like u have been out hiking in some amazing landscapes. In fact this terrain is so similar to the upper alpine of the west coast here. I have been busy painting for a art show in the USA for the last little bit and not had time to go to USEFILM much. U have posted some beauties i see.
Cheers, Tim
