On my old Nikon non-digital, I have a polarizer and it sure helps. Gets rid of a lot of greytones. They can also make clouds pop out of the sky. Good stuff to play with.

No, Geoff, I'm too much of a beginner-building-up-my-gear to use filters - not in my budget yet - have been enquiring about them, whenever I see a good photograph of sunsets or sunrises, but nobody seems to be using filters for taking those, they use polarizers though, it seems.

I like the way the sheep in the background are partially hidden and we just see a hint of them.
