Thank you very much for your kind words. For this picutre, I pass this place many days wondering how the subject has moved on. Your image, "Le Louvre", is excellent and shares strong graphic presentation with mine.
Good luck with your imagery.

I guess you and Avi are going to start hanging out now. Hehe.
Actually, this one reminds me of The Wall.

Thanks for your response to my reaction to your work. For this "burden" image, I was first attracted to the dramatic shadow. Then, realizing that I couldn't get the shadow by itselt, I shot with the pedestrians. The man with the burden was a blessing. I was also fortunate to have captured an enigmatic expression in the tilt of his head.
Also, please know that I examine Patrick's work each day. His work, and yours, both question imaging almost to question the meanings of looking.

What wonderful eyes you have for seing this unique vision of carrying something very large and heavy! It could also appear to be a big insect from outer space approaching the puzzled man:-) I´ve checked out your portfolio which is very interesting. I like your eyes for details around you- bringing out the unique in everydaysituations. This is sth. that also Patrick Crowther does very well. Maybe you should check out his work. Best wishes Annemette

Hi, yes perhaps, different. The sidewalk at this location is narrow, perhaps 15 feet, or so. I had to zoom back and stand in the gutter to have any forground at all. Then, chance sent the worker...

I work in an office in Manhattan. That day, I took my camera to lunch. I did take several but, none had this feeling of exchange amongst the elements. My computer is so full, I have to delete the outtakes.

Thanks, Hussam. First, I noticed the shadow. Then, when I realized that I could not get the shot without any people, I took several. The worker was the last.
