About The Arcalod Peak is the highest moutain of the Bauges Massif in French Alps... the instant is just at the end of sunset ... just enough time to take my tripod, my filters and "clic"... after the light was finished. Thanks for your comments :-)

thanks a lot Phillip :-)

in fact, many of my pictures have been taken less than 20mn of walk from my car ... sometimes just near the road :-) ... for those which was taken in moutains, i always take a light in my bag and it's easy to hike down with it ... the tracks are good. But i love too hike up during night under the moon ... just feel the cold falls and the night sounds of the forest ... pure sensation :-)

if you want to see more, take a look on my website !

it would seem like you do a lot of hiking and hiking out in the dark????? most of your images feel like they are a very strenuous hike up so the hike down after sunset is probably very rough??

wonderful capture again, i could comment on everyone of your images

very nice. i only have the idea that the picture is slightly over-sharpened (as can be seen by the 'bright' rim along the edge of the mountain).
