Gabrielle,
This is a very interesting and well composed image.
The three statues all seem to be associated with each other as if they had been alive and were suddenly fixed in stone.
It may be my warped sense of humour, but I cant help but think of the three monkeys "See no evil, Hear no evil, Speak no Evil"....

I agree Gabrielle, probably would be better in early morning/late afternoon, but it can't always be arranged.

It was midday and I would love to have been able to take photos in the am of late afternoon when the light gets pretty!

I am not sure I agree with the B&W suggestion. I think the blues make a nice contrasting backdrop to show off the white marble. Del.
