very dramatic and appealing, but i'm wondering if you couldn't get a stronger emotional appeal by composing the picture differnetly in the frame... for example, use negative space to draw the eye to the subject matter and to create a more dramatic feel. i am still very impressed with this piece, and feel free to take a look over my portfolio, i would love the imput of a real fellow artist.

Fascinating self portrait, difficult I am sure at that distance. Its rare that I see a good use of the Photoshop zoom-blur, but this is sure one of them. Fine work.
