perhaps shift your focus to the more interesting aspects of the subjecft, such as the intense, concentrating (i'm guessing since the face isn't clear) expression on the face of the model and less on the simple drawing they are starting. for example, if i had taken a photograph of this person (is it you?), i would have shifted my angle around the face to the right, and cropped the right side of the image where the hand is drawing, only with the drawing hand not so close to the face. interesting idea though, i have enjoyed taking photographs of friends working on recent projects, be it in 3d, drawing, or design.
