About	13 th June,2007. The monsoon rain hits Kolkata. She appeared so violently. More than 100 mm rain. As per report 8 km of rain cloud hanging over Kolkata just before the rain. It broke down upon the city and completely disrupts the life. Almost 20 people died. I was coming to my home from my workplace, I found lot of opportunities to shoot. Accompanying one of my friends we started exploring. When we reached to College street it was more than knee deep water and there were some entrance examination was going on, it was full of chaos there. The depth of water increased as we were approaching from Keshab Sen Street towards Amherst Road. We found its not safe to go further when it crossed my waist level. This shot is the first one of the water clogged Kolkata. Hope you like it

Partha Da you are absolutely right, I live in the Dhakuria area of South Cal, we are the best equipped to handle heavy waterlogging situations. I will try my level best to save the camera and take photos.
